QZify legal
This Privacy Policy explains how QZify collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use qzify.com, the QZify mobile applications for iOS and Android, quizzes, challenges, purchases, and related services. In this policy, “QZify”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the QZify service. By using QZify, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information you provide includes your email address, password or other authentication information, username or nickname, selected avatar, country, profile preferences, and any information you send when requesting support.
If you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive information authorized by you and the provider, such as a provider account identifier, identity token, name, and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address when you choose to hide your email.
Gameplay and social information includes quiz categories, questions and answers, scores, completion times, leaderboard positions, achievements, virtual coins, experience points, rewards, challenge results, friendships, blocked-player choices, and related activity.
Purchase information includes the product, store platform, transaction or purchase token, app-account identifier, purchase status, and subscription status needed to verify and restore purchases. Apple or Google processes your payment details; QZify does not receive your full card or bank-account number.
Technical and usage information may include your IP address, browser type, app version, device platform, model and operating-system version, session identifiers, page or screen activity, diagnostics, error logs, and security events.
The mobile app may request camera access only when you choose to take a profile photo. In the current app, a captured custom profile photo is processed and stored on your device and is not uploaded as part of your QZify profile. You can deny or revoke camera access in your device settings, although the photo feature will then be unavailable.
The app stores information on your device, including session credentials, guest-player details, a locally captured profile photo, preferences, active challenge information, and local progress. The website uses cookies and browser storage for authentication, an opaque guest-session token, preferences, security, and quiz continuity.
Clearing app data, clearing browser storage, signing out, or uninstalling the app may remove locally stored information. These actions do not automatically delete information already associated with a registered QZify account.
We use information to create and secure accounts, authenticate sign-ins, operate guest play, deliver quizzes and challenges, calculate results and rewards, maintain leaderboards, restore purchases, save progress, connect friends, personalize the experience, provide support, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve reliability and performance.
We may send transactional messages about email verification, account recovery, security, gameplay, purchases, service availability, or policy changes. Marketing communications, if offered, are sent only as permitted by law and can be opted out of.
Supported QZify features can be used without signing in. Playing as a guest does not create a registered QZify member or sign-in account.
In the mobile app, the guest nickname, selected avatar, locally captured photo, preferences, rewards, and progress remain in on-device storage. The app does not upload that local guest profile to QZify. If you later sign up, QZify creates a separate registered member account.
On the website, QZify creates a server-side website guest session and gameplay profile so it can operate quizzes, challenges, balances, and progress across requests. Your browser stores an opaque guest-session token used to retrieve that profile. The website guest profile is not a registered member account and has no email, password, Apple sign-in, or Google sign-in credentials.
A member account is created only when you explicitly sign up or connect an account. Website guest progress may be carried into that member account during sign-up or sign-in. Mobile-local guest progress is not automatically transferred to a member account.
Public and social features may show your nickname, selected avatar, country, score, rank, achievements, online status, friendship status, or challenge activity to other players. Do not choose a public nickname or image that reveals information you do not want others to see.
We share only the information reasonably needed with providers that support hosting, authentication, email delivery, app distribution, in-app purchases, security, diagnostics, and other service operations. This can include Apple and Google when you use their sign-in, distribution, purchase, or device services.
When we share information with a service provider, we require it to protect that information consistently with this Privacy Policy and applicable platform requirements. Providers may also process information under their own terms and privacy policies when you interact directly with them.
We may also disclose information when required by law or valid legal process; to investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or Terms violations; to protect users, the public, or legal rights; or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of the QZify service.
We do not sell or rent personal information. The current QZify mobile apps do not use personal information for third-party advertising or to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. If these practices change, we will update this policy and request any consent required by law or platform rules.
Registered-account information is retained while the account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide QZify, complete transactions, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal and accounting obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable requirement.
Mobile guest information remains in on-device storage until it is cleared, replaced, or removed with the app data. Website guest gameplay information is retained on QZify servers while the guest session is active or as reasonably needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and maintain game integrity. Clearing browser data removes the token from that browser but may not immediately delete the corresponding server record. You may request deletion using the privacy contact below.
Purchase-validation, security, and transaction records may be retained after account deletion where required to prevent duplicate grants, process restoration, comply with store requirements, meet accounting or legal obligations, or resolve disputes. When possible, these retained records are detached from the deleted player account.
A signed-in user can request permanent account deletion from QZify account settings or through the account-deletion page linked below. The account is disabled immediately and enters a 30-day recovery period. To recover it, open the Recover account page, enter the same email address used for the account, request the six-digit verification code sent by email, and enter that code before the recovery deadline. The user can then sign in again normally.
Recovery is unavailable once the 30-day deadline has passed. A scheduled process then permanently deletes the account, profile, gameplay history, virtual balances, rewards, friendships, and saved progress, except for limited information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or transaction-record purposes. Permanent deletion cannot be undone.
Deleting a QZify account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscriptions must be managed separately in your Apple or Google account. Apple and Google may retain purchase information under their own policies. Signing out removes the local account session; other locally stored app data can be removed by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.
Delete your QZify accountRecover your QZify accountYou can update supported profile information, manage app permissions in device settings, manage cookies and browser storage in your browser, disconnect an Apple or Google sign-in method when another sign-in method remains available, and use the account-deletion controls described above.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or a portable copy of certain personal information. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already completed lawfully and may prevent features that require the relevant information from working.
QZify is a general-audience quiz service. If you are below the age at which you can consent to online services where you live, you may use QZify only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal information in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian may request review or deletion through the privacy contact mechanism below.
QZify and its service providers may process information in India and other countries where services are operated. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ across countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international processing and transfers.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including secure network transport for production services and access controls appropriate to the data. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so keep your credentials confidential and use a strong, unique password.
We may update this Privacy Policy as QZify, its mobile apps, platform requirements, or applicable laws change. The revised policy will be posted at this same URL with a new “Last updated” date, and material changes may also be highlighted through the website or app when appropriate.
For privacy questions or requests, use Help and Support in the QZify mobile app or the verified developer contact shown on QZify’s App Store or Google Play listing. For deletion, use the account-deletion link above. You can also review our Terms and Conditions.
